But God, I’m tired. I’m going to sleep for an extra 20 minutes and I’ll read my Bible when I get back from work/school.

I know I said I would spend time with you when I got home but I’ve been waiting for this text. I’ll stay up late talking with him and then talk to You in the morning.

Lots of homework today, Lord. I’m gonna send up a quick prayer for strength which should cover my talking to You for the day and then I’ll get right back to studying.

I would’ve invited them to church, but I just didn’t want to make them uncomfortable. We have fun hanging out and I wouldn’t want them to think I was judging them.

I’m an adult now. I can watch this and distinguish between what happens in movies and what can happen in my life. Just because I watch it doesn’t mean I’m going to exhibit the same behavior. It’s fine, I’m fine.

Okay, this person has left my life and hurt me deeply. I can act how I want to right now because I’m going through a really hard time. It’s just a phase. I’ll find time to feel bad about it later.

I would read my Bible today but I left my study Bible in my car and it’s raining and I don’t want to get wet.
